Music – Band

The Band classes at BAK Middle School of the Arts rehearse every other day within the school’s block schedule preparing a diverse collection of repertoire covering many styles of music from around the world.  The curriculum focuses on developing proper instrumental technique.  In addition, ear training, individual musicianship skills, and performance skills are taught through music theory, technique, and chamber classes.  The instrumental ensembles perform three major concerts at school as well as district music performance assessments each year.  For more detailed information please visit www.bakmsoamusic.org
